Split-ring and wire wrapped markers snag, large round beads feel clumsy and get in they way, and fixed wire markers work on a very limited size range of needle and can dig into and scratch your wood and metal needles.
I've created these because they encompass every feature I like but was never able to find:
• markers stay out of the way of your hand as you knit
• secured by a double-crimped bead which has been smoothed by filing (no sharp edges), and that will not come loose (I test every one of them)
• lie completely flat against your work
• surprisingly light weight
• large enough loop to fit a wide variety of needle sizes
